Supply of 15000m2 non-woven geotextile (Contract No: CCD/CD/2021/74 )

1.The Chairman, Department Procurement Committee on behalf of the Coast Conservation and Coastal Resource Management Department invites sealed bids from you for the supply of 15000m2 non-woven geotextile

2.Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Bidding (NCB) Procedure.

3.To be eligible for contract award, the successful bidder shall not have been blacklisted by the Department or by any other government Department

4.Qualification requirements to qualify for contract award include: Experience in at least 05 similar nature project and to complete the works within the given time period.

5.Further information may be obtained from Chief Engineer (Coastal Development), Coast Conservation and Coastal Resource Management Department, at the address given below and inspect the bidding document at the same address on any working days from 0900 hrs to 1530 hrs. 6.A complete set of Bidding Documents in English language may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non refundable fee Rupees Three thousand five hundred only (Rs.3,500.00) from 2021.07.19 to 2021.08.06. The method of payment will be by cash and shall be deposited to the Shroff of the Department.

7.Bids shall be delivered or sent by Registered Post in duplicate to the address below on or before 2021.08.09 at 14.00 hrs. Bid number must be written on the left –hand upper corner of the envelope. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened soon after closing in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend.

8.Bids shall be valid upto 2021.10.26.

9.All bids shall be accompanied by a Bid-Security to the amount of LKR 70,000.00 issued by a bank approved by the Central Bank. Bid Security shall be valid upto 2021.11.23
