Permit Application

In terms of Section 14 of the Coast Conservation Act No.57 of 1981, no person shall engage in any development activity other than a prescribed development activity within the Coastal Zone except under the authority of a permit issued in that behalf by the Director, Coast Conservation. Coastal Setbacks

The Island Coast has been divided in 72 coastal sectors and the Setbacks of deferment distances have been assigned to each segment. The assigned "Coastal Setbacks" in each segment are listed in the table and it could be downloaded.
